Use of Google Adwords conversions
We use Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers by means of advertising (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. Using the data from the advertising campaigns, we can determine the reach of each advertising campaign. In this way, we can monitor your interest in the advertising shown in order to increase the attractiveness of our website and optimise advertising costs fairly.
These advertising resources are delivered by Google via what is known as an "Ad Server". We use Ad Server cookies for this purpose, which enable us to measure certain performance evaluation parameters, such as ad insertion and user clicks. When you arrive on our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords places a cookie on your PC. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and must not be used to identify you personally. As a general rule, this cookie records as analysis values the unique ID cookie, the number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), the last impression (for Post View conversions) and opt-out information (notification that the user no longer wishes to be contacted).
These cookies enable Google to recognise your browser. When a user visits certain pages of an Adwords client's website and the cookie stored on their computer is still valid, Google and the client can identify that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is allocated to each Adwords client. This means that the cookies cannot be traced by the Adwords clients' websites. We do not collect or process any personal data for the above-mentioned advertising measures. Google only provides us with statistical evaluations. These enable us to identify the most effective advertising methods. We do not receive any additional data from the advertising methods used, and in particular we cannot identify users on the basis of this information.
The marketing tools used automatically establish a direct connection between your browser and Google's server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google as a result of the use of this tool; we therefore inform you to the best of our knowledge: Through the integration of the AdWords conversion, Google receives the information that you have visited the corresponding part of our website or that you have clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered for a Google service, Google can link your visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or if you are not logged in, it is possible that the provider may know and store your IP address.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in a number of ways:
a)
By adjusting your browser accordingly; in particular, refusing third-party cookies prevents you from receiving advertisements from third-party suppliers;
